Call for Frames: Be Part of a Community Art Project

This summer, artist Ashley Middleton is exhibiting a new series of works at the Saugerties Public Library—and you’re invited to take part by donating a picture frame.

📍 Exhibition Details
Location: Saugerties Public Library
Dates: July 1 – August 31, 2025

The exhibition features images of 3D scans of Arctic icebergs, created during Ashley’s time at the Arctic Circle Residency in 2024. Each print will be displayed in a donated frame, giving old materials new meaning while connecting personal and planetary histories.

How to Donate a Frame

  • Deadline: June 5, 2025

  • Drop-off Location: Saugerties Public Library front desk

  • What to Include: Your name and email so you can be acknowledged

After the Exhibition

You’re welcome to pick up your frame with its new artwork between August 24–30, 2025.
After 12:00 PM on August 30, any unclaimed frames and artworks will be donated or offered to visitors for free.

Why Participate?

By donating a frame, you help build a collective presentation of work that reflects on memory, ice, and impermanence. Your frame becomes part of the story.
